Lufwanyama Town Council has signed a contract with Camco Equipment Zambia to procure and deliver a Grader under the 2024 Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The total value of this contract is Three Million Five Hundred Thousand Kwacha K3,500,000.
As a local authority, we would like to place on record that this brand-new grader has been procured using the 2024 Constituency Development Fund (CDF). Seven contractors participated in the bidding as the tender was advertised nationwide – and Camco Equipment Zambia was awarded the contract as the most satisfying bidder. The contract has since been signed, and the grader will soon be delivered.
The grader will add to the set of heavy equipment that Lufwanyama Town Council owns. The Council made the decision to have two Graders to adequately respond to the need for roads in the rural Constituency’s Twenty (20) wards. This will also help in opening up the district to more infrastructure development and investment. The poor road network has certainly been a mammoth challenge for Lufwanyama.
The district should be confident that Lufwanyama Town Council and the Civic Leadership are working relentlessly to ensure that meaningful development is implemented timely. Furthermore, the Council will soon be procuring an Excavator to have a full set of heavy equipment for the district.
