Lufwanyama Town Council has signed contracts at a total cost of K2,070,000 with three drilling companies: Nkana Drilling and Exploration Limited K690,000.00, Premium Drilling and Constructions Limited K680,000.00 and Vacuum Drilling and Constructions Limited K700,000.00.
This follows the presidential directive to re-align the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) allocation and application to respond and mitigate the effects of climate change in Lufwanyama District.
The companies will each drill ten bore holes, and works are expected to be completed within thirty days.
