Lufwanyama Town Council, Monday 10th February 2025 – Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, through the Copperbelt Provincial Government Officer, has officially approved the 2025 Constituency Development Fund Community projects amounting to K17,657,020,74
Among the projects approved are;
✓Completion of dormitories at Lufwanyama Boarding School.
✓Drilling of commercial boreholes at Mukutuma Rural Health Centre
✓Construction of 1X2 Classroom block at Milemu School with Solar
✓Construction of 1X2 CRB, Semi detached house with water at Chantete in Luswishi.
✓Completion of Milulu Health Post
✓Construction of 1X2 CRB at Chibanga Community School
✓Construction of 1X3 at Musamba School with Solar
✓Procurement of furniture and equipment for completed Health Posts under CDF
✓Electrification of Nkana area
✓Procurement of Low bed
✓Installation of Solar System at Lufwanyama Hospital phase 1.
✓Procurement of Desks
✓ Restocking of the Somap Shop
The projects are expected to commerce as soon as possible following all the required procurement guildelines and process, Lufwanyama Town Council remains committed in ensuring transparency, accountability and efficient execution of all CDF-supported projects.
Further a K 3,278,013.69 for fuel to grade feeder roads was approved and K 1,934,920.00 empowerment funds for Grants which will benefit 58 local cooperatives.
