Lufwanyama Town Council has had its 2025 Budget Estimates approved by the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development at K105,377,916.
The Council Budget Estimates on Revenue and Expenditure for the fiscal year 2025 stands approximately at K105 million representing a 9 percent increase from the 2024 Budget which stood at K83.5Million. The increase is attributed mainly to the upward adjustment of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and the introduction of the Cash For Work Program (CFW)
Among the key priority areas that have been budgeted for in 2025, include; Road Infrastructure, Solid Waste Management, Water and Sanitation, Education and Health Services, Agriculture Services, Social Protection and Community Development, Constituency Development Fund (CDF) projects.
Lufwanyama Town Council’s 2025 budget is expected to drive significant development in the district, with a focus on inclusive growth and improvement, through prudent utilization of the allocated funds.
