PPHPZ IN LUFWANYAMA FOR A PILOT PROGRAM.

The People’s Process on Housing and Poverty in Zambia (PPHPZ) today held a consultative meeting with the Lufwanyama Town Council Department of Planning to discuss potential projects for a pilot program in the district.
The pilot program, scheduled to run from May 2025 to May 2026, aims to support pro-poor grassroots community movements in addressing housing and poverty issues in Lufwanyama District.
PPHPZ, a non-governmental organization, will work with the Lufwanyama Town Council to identify and implement projects that benefit local communities. Tralard is expected to provide support after the pilot program, which is sponsored by the World Bank.
The partnership between PPHPZ and Lufwanyama Town Council highlights the importance of community-led initiatives in addressing poverty and housing challenges in Zambia.
