LUFWANYAMA SIGNS FIVE CONTRACTS WORTH K3 MILLION UNDER CDF

The Lufwanyama Town Council is pleased to announce the successful signing of five contracts valued at over Three Million Kwacha (K3,077,426) under the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF). This strategic milestone marks a significant step in the Council’s ongoing efforts to accelerate local development, improve service delivery, and uplift the living standards of residents across the district.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, Council Secretary Ms Lynda Mapara emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, and community involvement in project implementation. further, she reaffirmed Council’s commitment to continuous monitoring and community engagement to ensure that all projects are completed within the schedule and budget line.
The contractors have also been encouraged to engage the locals in some of the works that can be done by local labor and not outsourcing from other districts to encourage ownership of the projects in their respective wards through Ward Development Committees.
